Our Cross Country training course, set across 23 acres, has been beautifully designed and built to take the horses cross country training to the next level. The land had been uniquely landscaped with undulations, gullies, drops, steps, mounds, ditches, hollows and a water complex, all purpose built allowing space to have competition speed (if required) when jumping the fences.
All the fences are competition grade, built by the ‘Willis Brothers” and the questions are set out by James Willis. There are softer options which lead to bigger questions when the confidence is gained by both horse and rider.
Safety is paramount in this sport so there has been no expense spared in the making of the jumps, the “Spirofix” ground fixings, flags and any dressings complying with the competition safety standards.
The heights of the jumps start from BE100 level, with Novice to Intermediate jumps all offering good lines and questions on a forward stride. Its aim is to encourage confidence and balance for the horse and rider over competition grade fences with undulating ground.
Team training – You can hire the course out for Team training, fences can be set out at request if required.
Furthermore, we have a full set of 20x60 arena boards which can be hired out for test riding. A full new set of show jumps will also be coming in the summer to provide full competition level equipment.
We do need your feedback as you use it to allow the course to evolve and improve. We are open to suggestions and requests.
