From individual training sessions to organised clinics, Pony Club and Riding Club activities, Homelands offers a versatile setting with facilities to suit a wide range of disciplines.
With professional coaching available from Ben Leathers BHSI, a British Eventing Accredited Coach, we combine quality facilities with practical experience and a personal approach to training.
Our new 50m x 60m fibre-mix sand arena provides a spacious, quality surface for schooling, flatwork, jumping and structured training sessions.
The arena is available for individual hire, coaching, clinics and organised group activities. Show jumps and cross-country training obstacles can also be incorporated by arrangement, offering flexibility for a variety of training requirements.
Our purpose-built, 23-acre cross-country course offers a varied and exciting training environment, with fences ranging from BE90 through to Intermediate level and 3-star standard.
The course includes a variety of fences, combinations, drops, ditches, gullies and water complexes, set across undulating ground with inviting, forward distances. With a continually developing selection of fences and refreshed layouts, the course provides opportunities for riders to improve technique, confidence and accuracy at every stage of their eventing journey.
The course is available for individual schooling, private hire, coaching sessions, clinics and organised training days.
Our grass show jumping area provides an excellent setting for jumping practice, schooling and group training. Whether you are developing rhythm and balance, working on combinations or preparing for competition, the facility offers a flexible training environment for a range of abilities.
Show jumping facilities can also be incorporated into clinics and organised training sessions by arrangement.
Our grass dressage arena provides space to work on accuracy, rhythm, suppleness and test preparation. It is suitable for individual schooling and organised dressage training, including clinics and riding club activities.
Our six-furlong grass canter track offers a valuable facility for fitness work, conditioning and developing a horse's balance and rhythm in a more open environment. It provides an additional training option for riders looking to complement their regular schooling and competition preparation.
Homelands is also home to a professional livery yard, with an American-style barn, individual stabling, secure tack and feed storage, extensive turnout and supporting horse-care facilities.
