Established in 2010, Homelands has gone from strength to strength, offering high-class livery, coaching, and training to our clients.
At Homelands Equestrian, we provide a full 5* livery service on a professionally run yard, covering every aspect of your horse’s daily care. Our highly trained staff, along with our experienced and qualified Yard Owner/Manager, ensure you have complete peace of mind that your horse receives the very best care and attention every day.
We pride ourselves on our excellent facilities, which are continually being improved to provide the first-class environment you expect and require to care for, work with, train, and develop your horse.
Set in over 105 acres of stunning Sussex countryside overlooking the South Downs, Homelands offers extensive turnout in large, mixed-herd fields. Bespoke exercise programs can be tailored to suit your horse’s individual needs. Daily care includes bringing in, grooming, feeding and haying, full mucking out, turnout, and tack cleaning. We also offer ample parking and storage for trailers and horseboxes.

Our livery welcomes riders and horses of all abilities, and we are proud to support all disciplines, including dressage, show jumping, and eventing. Coaching is available with our on-site Level 5 Performance Coach and BE-accredited coach, alongside junior instructors. We also host regular clinics, training opportunities, and a summer dressage series each year.
Yard owner Ben Leathers BHSI competes regularly with his own string of competition horses and encourages clients to join him if they wish. Living on site with his family, Ben ensures Homelands remains a truly family-run yard where every horse and rider matters.
